Your First Orthodontic Visit
Whether for yourself or your child, we’ll start the appointment by examining the mouth and determining if orthodontic treatment is necessary or would help the patient achieve their goals. We don’t always recommend treatment, or we may suggest that it begin at a later date (particularly for children). If orthodontics would be beneficial, we can then go over treatment options, answer questions, and discuss payment to ensure that it's easily affordable.
Once a treatment plan is agreed upon, the next step is diagnostic records. This can be completed the same day as your consult appointment and consists of digital intraoral scanning (Impression-less dental models), photographs, panoramic x-ray, and cephalometric x-ray. Dr. Everson uses this information to measure and analyze digitally the best way to treat your case. Treatment will then start at your next visit. Dr. Everson uses state-of-the-art digital modeling and 3D printing to provide the most comfortable and ideal treatment.
